Report to ALNAP on the Second African Evaluation Association Conference

 I participated on behalf of the ALNAP Secretariat with the primary objective of co-ordinating a Conference Strand (four afternoon sessions) on ‘Crises and Unstable Situations’(named by the organisers who wanted a broader focus that my proposed Evaluation of Humanitarian Action title). Secondary objectives were to raise awareness of ALNAP and identify African evaluators/evaluation managers who might be added to the membership - either as Observer Members or as even as a Full Member in the ‘southern members’ category.
