Oxfam GB evaluation guidelines

These guidelines have been produced to support the effective implementation of Oxfam GB’s Programme Evaluation Policy. Recognising that a lot of good quality Monitoring and Evaluation Guidelines and manuals have already been developed and are widely available, these guidelines are intended to provide a top line overview, introduction to programme monitoring and evaluation that will support staff in delivering quality programme evaluations. They draw on many of these existing manuals and guidelines, and owe a particular debt to the course materials provided by the International Programme for Development Evaluation Training. Importantly, the guidelines are intranet based to allow us to continue to develop and refine them as we go, and ensure that they remain useful, relevant and reflective of current thinking.
