Several organizations and key people made the 2011 International Conference on National
Evaluation Capacities a success. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Evaluation Office and the Public Service Commission of South Africa, as co-hosts, worked effectively as partners to organize the event. This paper summarizes the content of the event.
