Labour Market Needs Assessment, Gaza Strip

This study is one contribution to the urgent issue of employment in Gaza. Students, unemployed and under-employed Gazans need solid, current information to help choose their course of study or professional preparation. They need to know where the opportunities exist, where they are most likely to exist in the near future, how to qualify for those opportunities, and how to compete by understanding the priorities of employers. A Labour Market Needs Assessment offers that information. The same information allows institutions, NGOs, investors and employers to direct their resources into the industries and training which are most likely to result in real jobs. This study has been fully funded by USAID, through the Palestinian Community Assistance Program.
