Needs Overview: Food, Health and Water Eastern Aleppo

The methodology applied for this assessment was a phased approach which included primary data collection and analysis between 20 and 28 August 2014 as well as a secondary data review which was used to triangulate and validate the primary data. Three similar assessment were previously carried out, between 17 April and 25 July 2014, in four smaller but densely populated neighbourhoods of eastern Aleppo city. These assessments allowed for trend identification over time in this oppositioncontrolled side of Aleppo city.
