Between 1st of September and 1st of October Al-Massala Organization monitored the Syrian women refugees in Erbil. The work was done through specialised teams and the aim was to assess the living conditions of the Syrian women refugees. The monitoring process adopted various methods such as:

1. Field visit to the ''Kawrgosk, Basirma, Qushtapa and Bahrka'' camps in Erbil and talked directly with the women refugees.
2. Using the method of ''monitoring and observation''.
3. Using various sources of information such as ''camp supervisors and administration, journalists and media outlets, workers of the organizations, health workers, other aid workers, refugees and others''.
4. In addition Al-Massala works outside the camps with Syrian refugees in different parts of Erbil and records information and cases of interviewed women refugees, or receives information from the official institutions.

The objective of this assessment is to learn about and gain rapid understanding on the special situation of the Syrian women refuges and identify their immediate needs.
