Join us for the World Humanitarian Summit side Localising humanitarian aid: building resilient networks, systems, organisations and people.

Date: Tuesday 24th May
Time: 13:00-14:30
Location: Rumeli Hall 2 (100 - Roundtable), Lüfti Kirdar Convention & Exhibition Center (LKCC) building

The Summit provides a key opportunity to strengthen effective humanitarian response at the local level. This event examines three key areas of action needed to ensure a process of localisation that is effective and sustainable.

It uses practical examples and brings in the important additional perspective of the development community; specifically those seeking to build resilience to climate extremes and disasters. It will provide insights and innovations on connecting across the local to international scale, and shed light on bridging the humanitarian-development divide, within the context of moving from delivering aid to ending need.
