What We Know About Joint Evaluations of Humanitarian Action (Draft)

This document brings together knowledge gained from the experiences of people that have been involved in joint evaluations conducted by non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It mainly profiles the work of NGOs involved in the Emergency Capacity Building Project (ECB)1, but also draws on the lessons of multi-agency evaluations that already exist within the humanitarian sector. Major contributions have come, in particular, from the Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP).
