Impact Evaluations (IE) develop a better understanding of what difference WFP programmes make in people's lives.
IEs focus on one programme activity at a time, for instance school feeding, in one country, to allow the evaluation team enough time and resources to collect data through a mix of methods.
IEs use techniques like surveys, focus group discussions and participatory methods, as well as document review (secondary data) and discussions with key informants.
