Tsunami Evaluation Coalition, Summary of Issues from Secondary and Tertiary Data

 The Tsunami Evaluation Coalition Evaluation Advisor and Coordinator prepared this summary of the Lessons, Issues, and Recommendations identified in other evaluations of the Tsunami response for the TEC thematic evaluation teams. This summary is intended to highlight some of the issues emerging in other evaluations by early November 2005, so that the TEC Thematic evaluation teams can consider these when preparing their own reports.
This approach has been adopted because it was considered more efficient to carry out some central data-reduction of the large number of evaluations and reviews than to have each team to read all the original material as well as the thematic specific material that they are reading.
