Objectives: To estimate the disaster probability, hazards, vulnerability and response capacity in the four MERCOSUR countries (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) and associated country Chile with a view to providing a sound basis for deciding whether or not to enlarge the programming decision for the fifth DIPECHO Action Plan so as to include one or more of these countries.
