Risk Reduction Index: Analysis of the capacities and conditions for disaster risk reduction.

DARA's on-going development of the Risk Reduction Index (RRI) is our core activity related to disaster risk reduction under DARA's Human Impact of Climate Change. The Risk Reduction Index assesses capacities and conditions for effective risk management policies, strategies and activities for reducing the impact of natural hazards on vulnerable local communities. It is a project that aims to promote learning, inform policy and share lessons from disaster risk reduction interventions and whose overall purpose is to reduce risks for vulnerable populations in areas prone to disasters.
