CARE's project 'Reducing Food Insecurity through Fresh Food Assistance and Agricultural Inputs to Vulnerable Households in the Gaza Strip' has achieved two overall results; (a) it has made it possible for 1,400 farmers to plant at least one dunum of the crop that they sold to the project and thereby sustain their livelihood, and (b) it has helped meet the well documented need for micronutrients in 7,600 exceptionally poor households across the Gaza Strip.
