Non-Interfering coordination: the key to Pakistan’s successful relief effort

This article will review the size of the calamity, why the military was and should be used, review why Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and international assistance was needed, explain the model of “non-interfering coordination,” and look at how the new “Cluster System” assisted in humanitarian delivery. Finally, it will list key lessons learned to be adapted for future emergencies.
