Since the start of the Syrian conflict, numerous “temporary education centers” (TECs) have been established in Turkey to provide education to Syrian children. These centers vary considerably in quality, resources, and need, as well as in the level of support received from organisations and donors. This report identifies and describes the varied needs of the TECs in Hatay. This enables Save the Children, as well as other stakeholders, to plan programming and support in a way that has a meaningful impact on the educational opportunity available to Syrian children.
