Intensive Course on “European and International Human Rights Standards in Disaster Settings" (EIHRSDS) at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa, 4-8 October 2021.

The Course aims at: providing a sound knowledge of the legal frameworks and principal actors relevant to disaster prevention and response activities; raising awareness on the critical role of human rights in disaster settings; and favouring a more human rights-sensitive approach to disaster management.

The Course is intended for students, research fellows, practitioners working on civil protection issues for national and international organizations, NGOs and other actors active in this field.
