Impact of mobile message reminders on tuberculosis treatment outcomes in Pakistan

This report by Mohammed et al. examines the impact of mobile-based health interventions in Pakistan to promote long-term adherence to treatment. The study found no difference in treatment success rates between the group that received the Zindagi SMS mobile message reminders along with a motivational message and the comparison group that did not receive the treatment. There were also no differences evident in variables looking at physical and psychological health.
