Links community-based participatory assessments and individual assessment methodologies to identify at-risk refugees. Three basic methodologies are used and adapted to identify and prioritize individuals at risk, providing intervention entry point to mitigate the risk. Can be used to survey a sample of the community of concern to gain an understanding of the characteristics or profiles of persons who are likely to face specific risks. Both individual and environ-mental risk factors (e.g. security problems, access barriers to assistance and services, non-respect for legal systems) can be identified, enabling more effective protection and assistance response design.
