This report presents the findings of an evaluation of ACF's "Sustainable Improvement of the Livelihoods of People Living with HIV/AIDS and Their Families in Zimbabwe". This project was implemented in a challenging environment of nature (arid to semi-arid landscape), food insecurity (47% of the province population is affected), and HIV/AIDS (Zimbabwe has the 5th highest rate in the world). This evaluation focused on the water points implemented by this programme, which are a key element for the Low Income Gardens (LIG) to work and provide supplies for the local families. Another aspect mentioned in this report is Conservation Farming (CF), which, though limited in implementation with this project, shows tremendous long-term potential.
