Evaluation Report: Food Security and Peaceful Development in Lagawa (Nuba Mountains)

This is the evalution report for the Project for Food Security and Peaceful Development in Lagawa (Nuba Mountains) which started in July 2004. The first phase of the Project was finished at the end of June 2007. The Project was mainly financed by the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by Deutsche Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action (DWHH/ GAA).

The overall goal of the Project, was to guarantee the peaceful development and structural stability of the region by supporting food security. The Project purpose was that the population of Lagawa shares and uses its natural resources as well as participation in local decision making in a just way and solves its conflicts peacefully in order to improve the food security of all different groups.
