This is the second of two ACAPS reports looking at lessons learned and good practice in community-led communication processes. It focuses on Sierra Leone while the first, published earlier this week, looks at Liberia.

This report covers the changing behaviours of affected population during the outbreak, the most effective channels for reaching communities, the most trusted actors for information delivery and the adaptation of messaging to the needs of affected populations. These insights suggest ways to better address communication needs in future outbreaks and in humanitarian emergencies.
