Danish Refugee Council's (DRC) Protection Policy Initiative

In 2003, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) initiated a two-year cross-cutting policy
initiative on protection. The Protection Initiative is essentially an internal capacity enhancing
process aimed at creating an increased common understanding and knowledge in DRC
(field and HQs) on protection and how to integrate protection concerns in DRC’s
international programmes.
