The objective of the document is to document and analyse the interventions of the IFRC in responding to the challenges of HIV/AIDS and if appropriate to look at the replicability of successful programmes in other countries; to inform future HIV/AIDS policy development and to make a significant contribution to the planning and design of future HIV/AIDS interventions implemented throughout IFRC; to inform, identify and correct any perceived weaknesses in guidelines addressing HIV/AIDS in the workplace.
