This country report provides an analysis of the Central Emergency Fund’s disbursements in
response humanitarian crises in the Philippines from 2006 to 2010. It is one of 16 case studies
conducted to inform the 5-year Evaluation of the Central Emergency Response Fund
(CERF). Mandated by the UN General Assembly, the 5-year Evaluation of the CERF is
managed by OCHA’s Evaluation and Guidance Section (EGS), and conducted by Channel
Research.
