The objective of iterative evaluations (EIMS) is to gather information about how the programme is evolving in terms of context, management and degree of implementation in order to improve activities if necessary and identify potential needs. This evaluation focused on four areas: understanding the impact of the activities carried out during the lean season and the rainy season in 2019; identifying and analysing the difficulties and successes in terms of adaptation; assessing how the recommendations made in the two preceding evaluations had been followed up; and evaluating the qualitative contribution of the programme in terms of disaster risk management.
