2009 Liberia Refugee Crisis Response Review

The refugee crisis in Liberia resulted from the Ivorian post election conflict. While the situation is stabilizing, refugees still fear revenge in their communities and would therefore prefer to stay longer in Liberian. CARE’s response in WASH and food security was late but effective as it is showing real value added in host communities and providing space for affected people to raise their voice and get heard.
