Ms. Kennedy-Chouane provided an overview of the conclusions from the nearly two year process to adapt and revise the definitions of the widely used evaluation criteria first set out by the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) in 1991. The global consultation on the criteria yielded many valuable insights, both about the criteria themselves and about the state of evaluation more broadly. Megan will share the new definitions – including for the new criteria Coherence – and describe the significance of the changes, and what motivated these changes. She will also present the newly developed principles for use, and introductory text that informs how the criteria are meant to be applied.  She will explore some key questions including how the Agenda 2030 and leave no one behind are reflected. There will be time for discussion and Q&A.
