Online especialization course: "Water, sanitation, and hygiene in humanitarian action" 2021

The WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE IN HUMANITARIAN ACTION (Emergency Response-WASH-Online/ER-WASH-O) specialization course aims to provide a specialized, practical, up-to-date and completely virtual training offer. It is aimed for professionals working in the field or those with a special interest in specializing in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene in humanitarian action.

The course is designed to cover the most frequent implementation processes in the WASH sector during emergency response and in accordance with the "Minimum Requirements for Water Interventions, Sanitation and Hygiene in Emergencies" Guide by AECID (Spain).

During the 10 weeks of the course (80 hours of estimated dedication), through the virtual platform of the IECAH, the team of the Institute and the experts of FLASH will accompany you throughout the 4 TRAINING MODULES (to be completed progressively through participation and work requirements). Also, we will hold 3 WEBINARS during the course with external experts: Carlos Sarmiento (Canal Isabel II), Verónica Sánchez (n'UNDO) and Fabio Fussi (UNIMIB).

In the selection process, the previous experience of candidates in the humanitarian field and/or international cooperation or in related sectors will be taken into account.
