Event I: Breaking ground in developmental evaluation for real-time decision making

Time: 14:00-15:45 (Rome time)

How can developmental evaluation approaches balance the demand for agile and flexible real time approaches to evidence generation with the need for systematic examination for accountability and institutional learning purposes? This event presents lessons and experiences from recent developmental evaluations carried out by the World Food Programme and the United Nations Population Fund before opening up for a moderated discussion and sharing of experiences among panellists, participants and special guests.
