Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) 2021 Conference

Time
09:30 - 17:30, GMT -5

The next Canadian Evaluation Society Conference will take place virtually in 2021.

The redesigned conference offers a safer and innovative alternative to our traditional in-person gatherings. On the one hand, it will reduce barriers to participation and minimize the environmental footprint of the conference. On the other hand, it will feature multiple new ways of engaging with speakers and other participants thanks to a highly interactive platform.

The new format maintains the original conference theme, augmented by two additional sub-themes, Impact of the pandemic on utilization and Marginalization and utilization, that invite evaluators to reflect on what the current pandemic situation and its societal impacts mean for evaluation utilization.

Conference proceedings will take place over three non-consecutive days: May 10, 12, and 14, 2021, and a selection of concurrent full- and half-day workshops will be held daily from May 3 to 7, 2021.

Guidance and tools will be offered to presenters, to help them prepare their virtual presentation and take full advantage of the possibilities offered by our new virtual platform.
