This learning review is a broad overview of
Oxfam’s advocacy work in Darfur, the Democratic
Republic of Congo and northern Uganda. Its main
focus is on how Oxfam works, rather than on the
issues it prioritises. It draws on interviews with
Oxfam staff as well as key policy makers in each
context to provide insights into where Oxfam GB
has had influence where it hasn’t, and the reasons
for this. With case study reviews on each context,
the objective is to document advocacy practice, as
well as inform future activities.
