Improvement of Agricultural Practices Aimed at Enhancing Economic Security Through Sustainable Management of Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation in War Affected Areas for Vulnerable Populations Implemented by ACF-Spain in Southern Lebanon

The final evaluation of this project was to assess its impact on the economic security of the targeted beneficiaries, and to tease out lessons to bein corporatd in future project designs. This evaluation took place between February 27and March 9 2012, when the project team had already stopped its activities in the villages. The essential team members were however still present and available. About 15 villages were visited several times, and about 33 people were met, mostly farmers, but also municipal authorities, mukhtars, cooperative leaders and technical resource persons. There was a final workshop with the team members at the end of the evaluation.
