This report presents the findings and recommendations of an evaluation of the three-year project “Improving the Living Conditions in a Changing Environment – Thatta Coastal Farmers” (March 2009 to March 2012). With the support of the JSDF and the World Bank, ACF was working in two Tehsils of coastal areas of district Thatta, namely Keti Bunder and Kharo Chan. The main objective of the project was to improve the living conditions of 6,500 small farmer households and tenants by increasing household income and decreasing household expenditure and burdens.
