Maria Gili
Communications Manager
Maria Gili is ALNAP's Communications Manager. She joined ALNAP in 2014 and is responsible for ensuring that all ALNAP communications are delivered in line with the Secretariat’s objectives and vision, to a high standard, on time, in innovative formats and within budget.
Maria also leads on the communications for our work on evaluation, ALNAP's flagship (The State of the Humanitarian System) and system-wide learning events alongside ALNAP's Head of Communications.
Prior to ALNAP, Maria worked with Transparency International and also managed communications for several organisations and projects in Latin America. Maria has a background in journalism, working for several years as a reporter for Latin American media. She also holds an MSc in Political Science and an MA in Journalism from City University.
